In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters. As a dispatcher/coordinator, you will utilize protocol-driven decision making to receive, assess, and route emergency requests in real-time, ensuring effective and timely resource allocation. This opportunity values clear and empathetic communication-both written and verbal-as you engage across diverse channels (radio, phone, chat) and handle urgent situations under pressure.
Scope of Work
• Receive and triage emergency requests via radio, phone, and chat, applying standardized protocols and checklists for accuracy and efficiency.
• Prioritize concurrent requests, determining the urgency and nature of each situation to allocate resources appropriately in real time.
• Document all inbound communications and dispatch decisions with clarity, ensuring thorough and accurate records.
• Route information and dispatch instructions to relevant responders, consistently following established operational procedures.
• Engage in multi-channel communication, managing multiple inbound and outbound streams simultaneously without compromising attention to detail.
• Contribute domain expertise to help define data quality standards and protocol effectiveness for AI training purposes.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to further enhance the realism and accuracy of AI communications simulations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Expertise in ambulance or emergency dispatch operations, including familiarity with incident triage and prioritization.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and remain composed in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
• Experience handling multiple communication channels (radio, phone, chat) simultaneously.
• Proficiency in applying standardized decision-making protocols and checklists.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation of all interactions.
• Experience as a dispatcher/coordinator is highly valued; formal certification is not required for this engagement.
