About This Role

This is a remote position. AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Fraud Configuration Specialist is a specialized technical-compliance role focused on designing, tuning, and maintaining the automated systems used to detect financial crime. Key Responsibilities • Configure AML and fraud platforms (e.g., Navaera, Featurespace) • Analyze false positive rates and adjust rules to improve the efficiency and accuracy of AML alerts, reducing the noise for investigators. • Translate new AML regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, PATRIOT Act, OFAC) into technical requirements and system rules • Conduct testing and validation of configurations Requirements • 4-8 years of experience in AML/fraud systems • Strong knowledge of AML transaction monitoring systems (e.g., Verafin, Actimize) and data analytics tools. • Ability to act as a bridge between technical teams (IT) and non-technical stakeholders (compliance officers, investigators).
