The Impact You ll Make in this Role As an Auditor / DRG validator - RN, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: • Collaborating with the coding and clinical team members and external clients includes content creation if necessary. • Performing audit tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance and DRG assignment • Participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives and ensuring professional, quality and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties and complying with corporate policies and procedures while acting in a manner consistent with Solventum's values and ethical standards Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: • Valid Registered Nurse license with a bachelor s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND seven (7) years of Nursing experience AND five (5) years of experience in the inpatient acute care setting OR • High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of experience as an inpatient acute care setting. AND • Strong knowledge of auditing practices, ICD 10, PCS guidelines, quality initiatives, and MS-DRG and APR DRG methodologies • Strong clinical knowledge and application to coding In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required: • CCDS, CCS, or CDIP with seven (7) years of clinical documentation experience as an auditor / DRG validator • Ability to travel up to 25% Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: • Master's degree in nursing, or other healthcare clinical background (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution • Experience with telecommuting, working with EMRs and other electronic tools with current chart auditing skills • Knowledgeable in Solventum HIS software portfolio (360 Encompass) • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs and excellent verbal, written, presentation, analytical and organizational skills Additional Requirements In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities. Those facilities may, in turn, require you to possess certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications (collectively prerequisites to entry ) for regulatory, safety, or other business reasons.
