Project - the aim you ll have Join a media organization that builds its products based on data and modern technologies. We're looking for a Business Analyst in the data area who will help us effectively align business needs with the capabilities of the development team. You'll be part of a team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and experienced Snowflake and Power BI specialists, supporting the development of analytical and reporting solutions used across the organization. If you enjoy analyzing processes and data, translating requirements into specific functionality, and co-creating data-driven products using an agile methodology, this is the perfect place for you. Position - how you ll contribute • Capture, analyze and document business requirements from the Data area • Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria • Work closely with Stakeholders and Developers • Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and scope management • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement clarification meetings • Contribute to functional specifications, process flows, data mapping Expectations - the experience you need • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Data area • Capture, analyze, and document business requirements • Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria • Work with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers and Stakeholders • Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and scope management • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement clarification meetings • Contribute to functional specifications, process flows, and data mapping • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders • Creativity and flexibility in problem solving • Ability to analyze database structures • Knowledge of basic structures (tables, views, procedures, etc.) and data architectures (OLTP, OLAP, Data Lake) • Practical knowledge of agile methodologies / frameworks (Agile / Scrum), • Good knowledge of modeling tools, e.g. Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm, draw.io or similar • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Mural, Zoom, MS Teams tools • Knowledge of the MS Office package • Basic knowledge of SQL Additional skills - the edge you have • Basic knowledge of: Snowflake platform, Power BI • Knowledge of UML and BPMN Our offer - professional development, personal growth • Flexible employment and remote work • International projects with leading global clients • International business trips • Non-corporate atmosphere • Language classes • Internal & external training • Private healthcare and insurance • Multisport card • Well-being initiatives Software Mind develops solutions that make an impact for companies around the globe.
