Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization s gender-equity agenda.Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K-12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit. Overview Need updating This is a pro-bono Unpaid volunteer position. JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. Join our mission as a Human Resource Generalist to support the HR and Talent teams with planning, organizing and directing human resources activities in support of the mission of the organization. Responsibilities • Work with the Head of HR on human resources operations and develop and implement effective HR processes across the organization. • Serve as a liaison between the HR team and the rest of the organization • Flexible hours, 3-5 hours/week, 6 months minimum commitment Qualifications • 1+ years broad Human Resources experience with exposure to HR Operations Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills • Well organized, with strong attention to detail • Comfort supporting a virtual HR team • Resourceful and creative Originally posted on Himalayas
