AirStrip is seeking a Manager, Client Delivery to our Project Management group within the Delivery Project Management Office. This role leads the day-to-day operations of the Delivery PMO and is responsible for driving consistent, scalable, and high-quality project delivery across the organization. This role provides direct leadership, coaching, and professional development for Associate Project Managers and Supervisor Implementation Coordinators while ensuring adherence to standardized project management methodologies, delivery processes, and customer engagement standards. The Manager serves as a hands-on leader who develops team capabilities, manages performance, establishes best practices, and promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. In partnership with Client Delivery leadership, the Manager oversees strategic customer implementations, complex delivery initiatives, resource planning, project governance, risk management, and operational effectiveness. Travel is not expected to exceed 10 - 20% with some overnights, depending on client activity and project requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead Associate Project Managers and Supervisor Implementation Coordinators - Provide daily leadership, coaching, mentoring, and direction to ensure successful project execution and exceptional customer experiences.
• Develop team capabilities - Establish career development plans, conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
• Drive talent acquisition and onboarding - Participate in hiring, selection, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives for DPMO personnel.
• Maintain and improve PMO methodology - Develop, document, implement, and continuously enhance project management processes, standards, templates, and tools.
• Program Manage strategic customer projects - Direct high-visibility customer implementations and enterprise initiatives from initiation through completion.
• Provide project governance oversight - Review project status, resource allocation, milestones, risk mitigation plans, and issue escalation processes.
• Support project escalation management - Assist project managers and implementation coordinators with at-risk projects and complex customer situations.
• Measure and improve organizational performance - Contribute to the assessment and development of delivery metrics, KPIs, and quality indicators to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner on strategic initiatives - Collaborate with department leadership to define and execute departmental goals and long-term delivery strategies.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration - Support efforts among Delivery, Implementation, Support, Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Customer stakeholders.
• Manage customer escalations - Serve as a senior point of contact for escalated delivery and implementation concerns.
• Ensure quality and compliance - Promote adherence to Quality Management System requirements, documentation standards, and organizational policies.
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Clinical, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification
• 5-7 years of PMO management level experience in healthcare or business technologies, or similar technology from other disciplines (PMO still required)
