About This Role

POSITION SUMMARY: The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for monitoring all tasks and initiatives necessary to accomplish the organization s payroll processing objectives. The Payroll Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of the payroll staff and functions to maintain data integrity to ensure timely and accurate preparation and processing of payroll. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Exhibits an in-depth knowledge of the complex payroll processes required to process incentives, garnishments, escalations, commissions and shift differentials. • Holds knowledge of union collective bargaining agreements to ensure compliance. • Assumes responsibility for all employee and operational payroll escalations to ensure timely resolutions. • Assists payroll processors and payroll analysts with complex incentive support issues. • Ensures timely response to requests from unions, tax authorities and other agencies. • Tracks metrics and KPIs to evaluate payroll and data performance. • Manages the processing of garnishment wage orders. • Manages the payroll processing for disaster relief operations according to documented procedures. • Provides technical expertise to the payroll analysts and payroll processors related to payroll applications. • Ensures the creation of complex ad-hoc reports to assist in managing and evaluating employee and payroll data. • Provides recommendations to field team members based on the analysis of data extracted from the payroll system. • Supports the development of sustainable training programs for supervisors, managers and employees. • Leads and organizes process improvement projects to advance the payroll functions. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience. Pay for this role is $82,600 - $113,500 depending on experience. Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $82,600.00 to $113,500.00* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.
