Procurement Specialist (High Voltage)

The Procurement Specialist (High Voltage) will serve as the lead technical representative for the Procurement organization for high voltage (HV) equipment utilized in substations and power transmission lines. Requirements • BS degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration or 3-5 years of experience in high voltage substation material purchasing • General knowledge of supply chain management and procurement, as well as construction principles and processes • Knowledge of contract management • Ability to work autonomously in a fast pace, professional, team environment with minimal supervision • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and in support of project schedules and other deadlines • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience with MS Excel, MS Project required • Experience with Vista Viewpoint is preferred • Experience with Autodesk Suite is preferred Originally posted on Himalayas
