Project Manager IT Remote Full Time Travel Less than 10% JOB SUMMARY MAP International is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our IT team and lead delivery of the projects driving our technology transformation. This role owns planning, coordination, and execution across concurrent initiatives - including cloud migration to AWS, Salesforce CRM implementation, and related systems and process work - keeping scope, schedule, budget, and risk visible to stakeholders at every level. The ideal candidate brings a track record of shipping technology projects on time in a resource-conscious environment, communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical partners, and is enthusiastic about using AI tools to work faster and better. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Planning and Execution •Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for concurrent technology and operational initiatives •Define project scope and success criteria with sponsors, and manage change control when scope shifts •Coordinate cross-functional project teams, internal staff, and external vendors to keep work moving against committed dates •Track task ownership, dependencies, and blockers, and drive issues to resolution •Maintain project documentation including charters, status reports, decision logs, and post-implementation reviews Stakeholder Communication and Reporting • Provide regular status reporting to leadership, translating technical detail into clear business impact •Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and steering committee updates, and publish decisions and action items •Partner with department leaders to gather requirements, confirm priorities, and manage expectations on timelines and trade-offs •Support change management and end-user readiness activities, including training coordination and communication plans. Risk, Budget, and Vendor Management •Identify, document, and actively manage project risks, assumptions, and constraints, escalating with recommended options •Track project budgets, forecasts, and actuals in partnership with IT and Finance •Manage vendor and implementation-partner deliverables, statements of work, and timelines •Monitor resource capacity across projects and flag conflicts before they affect delivery Process Improvement and AI-Enabled Delivery •Establish and improve repeatable project management practices, templates, and reporting standards for the organization •Apply AI tools to routine project work such as drafting status updates, summarizing meetings and documentation, analyzing project data, and automating recurring tasks •Share effective AI practices with colleagues and help identify where AI can reduce manual effort in project and operational workflows •Contribute to continuous improvement of intake, prioritization, and portfolio visibility processes ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS This position reports to the Chief Operations and Information Officer and works collaboratively across the organization. Internally, the Project Manager partners with IT team members on technical delivery and release planning, works with program, operations, logistics, development, and finance staff to gather requirements and coordinate project activities, and provides leadership with clear visibility into project status, risk, and resource needs. The role influences and coordinates work across teams without direct supervisory authority and adapts communication for both technical and non-technical audiences. Externally, the Project Manager manages implementation partners, consultants, and technology vendors, coordinates schedules and deliverables with those partners, and may interface with partner organizations such as NGOs and healthcare providers on projects that affect shared systems and data exchange in support of MAP's global medicine distribution mission.
