QA Tester – Oracle Core Banking Cloud & Payments

This is a remote position. McBride Consulting is seeking an experienced QA Tester to support a large-scale implementation of the Oracle Core Banking Cloud solution with Oracle selected as the organization s payment rail platform. This role requires a strong quality assurance professional with hands-on experience testing banking and payments systems in complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payment processing workflows, banking applications, integration testing, and end-to-end validation within Agile development environments. Experience supporting financial institutions or banking clients is highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications • Experience testing ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT, ISO 20022, or related payment systems • Familiarity with Oracle banking products and financial transaction systems • Experience testing cloud-based banking applications • Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks • Experience working with SQL for backend data validation Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle Core Banking Cloud implementations • Validate payment workflows, transaction processing, interfaces, and integrations • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across banking applications • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project stakeholders to ensure application quality • Validate API functionality and backend data processing • Support UAT activities and production validation efforts • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Ensure applications meet business, compliance, and operational requirements Technical Environment • Oracle Core Banking Cloud • Payment Processing Platforms • API Testing • SQL/Data Validation • Agile/Scrum Methodologies • Defect Tracking & Test Management Tools Requirements Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing • Strong experience testing Payments platforms and payment processing systems • Experience supporting banking or financial services clients preferred • Experience working with Oracle Core Banking Cloud solutions is highly desired • Strong understanding of payment rails, transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation workflows • Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing • Experience validating APIs, interfaces, and data flows between banking systems • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team environments Benefits • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Referral program • Vision insurance Originally posted on Himalayas
