SAP HANA ETL Developer In the role of SAP HANA Developer, you will interface with key business users and apply your technical proficiency across various stages of the development lifecycle including requirements realization, solution design, development and deployment. You will play an important role in creating design artifacts that will drive the creation of high-quality data models across a wide range of industry verticals and functional areas. You will be able to support user acceptance testing and activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Additional activities and responsibilities include participation in discussions with business users, translating requirements into technical design, technical specification authoring, design, development and documentation for current and future back-end solutions. You must be adaptable, eager to learn and potentially implement solutions using alternate back-end technologies/databases with the ability to handle basic front-end development if required. 5+ years working hands-on with SAP using HANA as a database 4+ years working hands-on with specifically native HANA (data modeling) Regular collaboration with end users and ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written to project leads and end users • Ability to create, change and maintain artifacts that document solution design • Analysis, design, development and testing of complex data models • Ability to apply layered concepts to data modeling and overall architecture • Ability to implement back-end solutions using calculation views and table functions • ETL design and development using SLT and SDI • Development of security models using HANA security concepts • Ability to compile and interpret complex SQL • Integrating HANA views with SAP UI5 Summary of Required Technical skills: • Analysis, design, development and testing of complex SAP HANA models utilizing SAP tools and development platforms • Ability to apply parallel and sequential design concepts to data modeling while ensuring optimal performance are met • Ability to troubleshoot performance and integrity issues in all related layers of an enterprise data architecture • Ability to implement back-end solutions using calculation views, table functions, SQL scrips and store procedures • Ability to compile and interpret complex SQL The base salary range for this position is $ 92,000 to $140,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
