Sr. Product Marketing Manager
vCluster Labs
About This Role
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at vCluster Labs, you are the connective tissue between what we build and why it matters. You own how we show up in the market: the positioning that frames the category, the messaging that lands with enterprise platform teams and AI infrastructure buyers, and the content that turns conviction into pipeline. You set the strategy and you ship the assets. In a market moving as fast as AI infrastructure, those two halves of the job cannot live with different people.
You will lead product launches end-to-end, sharpen our ICP and buyer understanding, run our competitive intelligence function, and produce the customer stories and content programs that prove our case. This is a builder role at senior scope. You set the bar for PMM at vCluster Labs and define the playbook the next hires inherit.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, your role will include:
•
Messaging & Positioning: Own the messaging framework across vCluster, vNode, vMetal, etc. Defend positioning choices with market evidence, win/loss insight, and customer interviews. Make sure every external asset, regardless of author or channel, reflects a single sharp point of view.
•
ICP & Buyer Insight: Lead our ongoing work to define and refine the ICP, including platform engineering leaders, AI infrastructure buyers, and ecosystem partners building AI factories. Map buying committees, surface what each persona actually cares about, and translate that back into how we sell and what we say.
•
Product Launches: Drive go-to-market for new features and products end-to-end. Positioning, messaging, launch narrative, asset production, sales enablement, and post-launch retro all sit with you. Every release should land with momentum, not just an announcement.
•
Competitive Intelligence: Stand up and run the competitive intel function. Track moves from incumbents and adjacent players, distill them into clear implications for product, sales, and marketing, and ship the battlecards and field guidance reps need to win live deals.
•
Content Programs: Own the full content roadmap, including customer testimonials, case studies, written guides, video content, and launch storytelling. You source the stories, shape the narrative, and produce the final asset. Strategy and execution sit in the same seat.
•
Sales Enablement: Translate complex technical concepts (tenant clusters, Tenant Isolation, AI infrastructure architecture) into battlecards, one-pagers, and pitch narratives that make reps faster and sharper in the field.
•
Ecosystem & Industry Marketing: Partner with our ecosystem lead on content strategy for industry panels, partner spotlights, and events. Make sure vCluster Labs shows up with a distinctive and consistent voice everywhere it matters.
This role could be a fit for you if you bring:
•
Messaging and positioning depth: You have built or refreshed a messaging framework from scratch, and you can defend positioning choices with market evidence and customer insight, not just intuition.
•
Go-to-market launch experience: You have run launches end-to-end, from product brief to post-launch retro, and you know what it takes to create external signal in a crowded infrastructure market.
•
ICP and buyer fluency: You have led ICP work for a technical product, and you can translate persona insight into sharper messaging, better content, and tighter sales motions.
•
Competitive intel chops: You have run or contributed to a competitive program that actually changed how reps sell and how product prioritized.
•
A portfolio that shows, not tells: Blogs, long-form guides, customer stories, video scripts, and social content. Your work is findable, high-quality, and speaks to a technical audience without losing the business buyer.
•
Sales enablement fluency: You have worked directly with sales teams to translate technical depth into buying clarity. You know what a good battlecard actually does for a rep in a live deal.
•
Builder-phase experience at senior scope: You have joined a company before the playbook was written and thrived. You know how to prioritize ruthlessly, set the standard for PMM output, and influence cross-functional partners without needing org chart authority.
Bonus points for:
•
AI infrastructure background: Experience at or with AI Cloud providers, GPU infrastructure companies, or enterprise AI platform teams. You understand the buying dynamics and vocabulary that enterprise AI factory builders bring to a deal.
•
Developer and platform community fluency: You have marketed to platform engineering, DevOps, or Kubernetes-native audiences and know how trust is built in open-source ecosystems.
•
Team-building instinct: You have thought about how to scale a content and PMM function and have opinions about when and how to bring in the next hire.
