aytm Ask Your Target Market is looking to hire a Senior Solution Strategist living in the US Eastern time zone, to join our growing consulting vertical. In this cross-functional role, the Senior Solution Strategist will leverage their strong knowledge of quantitative market research, client business and research needs, the competitive landscape, and the aytm platform to help drive our competitive strategy and win new deals and accounts. This role sits on the Solution Strategy team within aytm s Customer teams, partnering closely with New Business and Account Management sales teams to win new deals; collaborative partners include Product, Product Marketing, Learning Enablement, Customer Success, and Research. Responsibilities: • Collaborate and strategize with New Business and Account Management on responses to large, complex, and/or strategically important RFPs and pitches; showcase example surveys and deliverable samples or mockups to bring proposed solutions to life, including the building or coordinating of samples as needed. • Support the Sales organization with a goal of helping them to hit and exceed revenue goals. • Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes by incorporating other aytm products and/or services to achieve client objectives. • Maintain strong understanding and awareness of aytm s product, service, and partnership offerings in order to propose comprehensive solutions that win new business and are mutually beneficial to aytm and our clients. • Serve as a wayfinder for prospective client requests, leveraging Product, Service, and existing partnerships to propose optimal solutions. • Serve as a connector between Sales and Product, Operations, & Customer teams to develop customized subscriptions for Enterprise clients and engage in other strategic planning that will maximize platform stickiness. • Share prospective customer feature and platform requirements/requests to Product team; serve as the Voice of the Customer to help shape aytm s product and service roadmaps. • Serve as research and platform subject matter expert for Sales teams, including New Business and Account Management; support training of Sales team on new product and service offerings to facilitate their understanding of how the offerings work, common use cases for such offerings, and provide a POV on how to position them to different prospective client types. • Work closely with Product Strategy and Marketing teams to develop and maintain awareness and understanding of the competitive landscape; have a strong understanding of aytm s position in the market, including points of parity and differentiation with other online survey platforms and providers. • Cultivate awareness of industry trends and developments, identifying strategic partnership opportunities that will allow aytm to develop mutually beneficial deals and offer novel solutions to our clients. Qualified candidates should have.... • A competitive nature and a strong desire to win good business • A collaborative nature where working as part of a cross-functional team is just as natural as working independently • 10+ years working in the market research industry, 5+ years executing quantitative research, either as a client side DIY-er or a supplier; strong preference for client-side and/or independent consultant experience • 3+ years consulting experience (driving research solutions in a hands-on fashion) with enterprise clients • Strong understanding of advanced quantitative research methodologies and when various methodologies should be used • Strong knowledge of product research methodologies, brand research methodologies and innovation testing • Deep experience conducting research in the CPG sector • Hands-on experience using at least two online survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer, QuestionPro) for both programming and data analysis; experience using aytm a plus • A working schedule aligned with standard US Eastern Time business hours The Sr. Solution Strategist will not: • Have an individual sales quota. • Be responsible for closing opportunities. • Be responsible for independently managing customer relationships. • Be responsible for independently managing a frustrated customer. • Be a sales support person assembling proposals. • Be a back-up for a salesperson or researcher that is busy, on vacation, or otherwise occupied. • Be responsible for outcomes if the salesperson elects not to move forward with the re...
