About This Role

Hapi (Data Travel, LLC) is a company that specializes in data integration for hospitality companies and their technology partners. We are looking for a VP of Sales, based in the United States. This position requires a deep understanding of selling into enterprise global hotel groups, with particular focus in the United States. It is preferred that the candidate be based in the United States, ideally within the Eastern or Central time zone. The position will report directly to the SVP of Revenue and Growth. This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Key Responsibilities • Prospecting and Lead Generation : This is a hunting role that is responsible for identifying and prospecting new logo business • Sales Strategy : Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth • Cross Function Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, account management and customer success to ensure a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy • CRM Adherence : Use Salesforce CRM to manage and forecast the sales budget, track leads, manage contacts and create opportunities. • Strategy Refinement : Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement • Represent Hapi : Engage at industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate leads for business segment • Industry Knowledge : Stay up-to-date on hospitality industry trends and competitive developments to inform sales strategies • Goal Attainment : Hit or exceed given sales quotas. • Embody our core values: • Do The Right Thing - We stand by our commitments and values. • Ever Improving - We acknowledge our failures and strive to grow from them. • Find a Better Way - We use ingenuity to build enterprise value. • Together We Win - Success for the company is built on success for the team and customers. • Other tasks as required for the function Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • 5+ years of selling hotel technology • Experience in complex, solution sales • Familiar with sales methodology like MEDDIC, Sandler, Challenger. • Proficiency with suite of Google for Business Products (Slides, Docs, Sheets, GMail etc.) • Proficiency with AI chat (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Be organized, highly disciplined and self-motivated • Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members • Manage time effectively and meet work performance and/or productivity levels while teleworking • Strong understanding of data cloud ecosystems and hospitality technologies Will be a plus: • Have experience in selling PMS, CRM or Data Integration solutions at the enterprise level • Familiarity with AWS and its capabilities • Experience with Salesforce • Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Originally posted on Himalayas
