WEBSITE DESIGNER

This is a remote position. The Role We re on the hunt for a highly skilled WiX Designer with deep experience in both WiX Editor and WiX Studio, and a strong background in graphic design, branding, and storytelling. You should be able to take a brand vision and translate it into a polished, premium web presence with minimal oversight. This role demands more than technical capability - we need someone who can think creatively, concept strategically, and execute with precision. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Design and build complete, visually refined websites in WiX Editor and WiX Studio • Develop custom website layouts tailored to individual brands and their users • Translate brand messaging into compelling visual design and user experiences • Create custom icon sets, graphics, and visual elements aligned with client branding • Collaborate with the team to ensure design consistency across touchpoints • Create and manage digital design systems, visual hierarchies, and responsive rules • Consult on branding projects, including colour palette, typography, and voice alignment • Optimize designs for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices Advanced Skills & Experience Graphic & Web Design • Strong command of layout, composition, colour theory, and typography • Ability to design clean, modern, high-conversion websites across industries • Experience creating iconography, infographics, and scalable visual assets • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools for supplemental design work WiX Expertise • Deep familiarity with WiX Editor and WiX Studio • Working knowledge of WiX Velo for custom functionality (advantageous) • Ability to extend design features with animations, interactions, and dynamic content Brand & Messaging • Strong understanding of branding principles and tone of voice • Ability to interpret brand guidelines or create design systems from scratch • Confident in communicating visual strategies and brand alignment in design choices SEO & Web Performance • Experience with on-page SEO fundamentals, including: o Semantic markup and heading structure o Technical SEO settings within WiX o Keyword integration and content guidance o Schema implementation and performance optimization Who You Are • You have a designer s eye and a strategic thinker s brain • You re self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing projects independently • You re client-savvy: clear communicator, friendly, and solutions-oriented • You thrive in creative environments where detail and design excellence matter • You can flex between creative freedom and structured brand compliance Originally posted on Himalayas
