About This Role

POSITION OVERVIEW: Society 18 is seeking a highly organized, creative, and proactive Associate of Events, Social & Influencer Marketing to support the agency's creator partnerships, experiential marketing initiatives, social media presence, and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves bringing ideas to life, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is passionate about influencer marketing, social media, events, and creator culture. The Associate will work cross-functionally across events, social media, talent, partnerships, and operations while helping execute high-impact campaigns and experiences for creators and brand partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Social Media Marketing & Content Creation • Manage day-to-day content planning for Society 18's Instagram and LinkedIn channels. • Develop monthly content calendars aligned with agency campaigns, partnerships, creator announcements, and events. • Write engaging social media copy, captions, and assist with music selection for short-form content. • Design graphics in Canva, including creator announcements, milestone graphics, birthday posts, event promotions, partnership assets, and press announcements. • Film and edit Instagram Reels, creator spotlights, event recap videos, and partnership content using CapCut. • Maintain Instagram feed planning and overall visual consistency. • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms. • Publish Instagram Stories daily. • Engage with creators, brand partners, and community members through comments and direct messages. • Maintain creator posting trackers to ensure balanced representation across agency channels. • Develop quarterly newsletters and email marketing campaigns in Flodesk. • Create LinkedIn content highlighting agency partnerships, company milestones, leadership updates, and industry news. • Build and maintain creator pages on the Society 18 website. • Update creator biographies, follower counts, categories, and roster information as needed. Event Production & Experiential Marketing • Assist with planning and executing creator dinners, networking mixers, brand activations, gifting experiences, industry events, and experiential campaigns from concept through post-event reporting. • Develop and maintain event production documents, including run-of-show schedules, timelines, itineraries, outreach trackers, and production checklists. • Research, source, and coordinate event venues, restaurants, and vendor partners. • Build and maintain agency venues and preferred vendor databases. • Coordinate pricing, proposals, availability, contracts, and logistics with vendors. • Support sponsorship outreach and assist in preparing partnership proposals and presentations. • Manage creator invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, and attendee communications using CreatorIQ, Partiful, Airtable, and Google Sheets. • Coordinate gifting logistics, product shipments, and vendor deliveries for events. • Prepare Independent Contractor Agreements (ICAs), NDAs, vendor agreements, and supporting documentation. • Organize event assets, contracts, invoices, presentations, production documents, and creative files in Dropbox. • Provide on-site event support, including setup, vendor management, guest check-in, production coordination, and event breakdown. • Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content for real-time social media coverage. • Create post-event recap presentations in Canva and track creator coverage using Archive. Influencer Marketing & Brand Partnerships • Pitch creators for brand activations, networking events, creator trips, fashion weeks, festivals, and industry experiences, including ESSENCE Festival, New York Fashion Week, Coachella, and other cultural moments. • Support creator onboarding by updating internal databases, website profiles, onboarding materials, and social media assets. • Assist with proactive creator pitching for paid brand partnerships. • Support talent scouting initiatives and maintain the agency's talent scouting database. • Research new creators, emerging trends, and partnership opportunities. Executive & Administrative Operations • Coordinate meetings, calendars, and scheduling with creators, brands, vendors, and internal team members. • Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and distribute follow-up action items. • Maintain internal databases, presentations, production trackers, reporting dashboards, and operational documents. • Research and source brand contacts across beauty, fashion, travel, hospitality, wellness, food & beverage, and lifestyle industries using Apollo, Airtable, LinkedIn, and additional research tools. • Support day-to-day agency operations and assist with special projects as assigned.
