Role Title: Finnish Transcription Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Finnish Transcription Experts to contribute to an impactful customer project focused on language technology. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work: • Transcribe Finnish audio recordings with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. • Annotate, segment, or label linguistic data according to project-specific guidelines. • Review and validate transcriptions from other contributors, ensuring consistency and high standards. • Identify and flag ambiguities, dialectal variations, or unclear audio for further analysis. • Document transcription challenges and contribute suggestions for guideline improvements. • Collaborate effectively via written and verbal communication to clarify requirements and resolve questions. • Deliver completed assignments within the agreed-upon project timelines and milestones. Preferred Qualifications: • Native-level proficiency in Finnish, with a strong grasp of regional dialects and colloquial language. • Proven experience in transcription, linguistics, or language-related projects. • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism. • Ability to understand, interpret, and follow complex linguistic or project guidelines. • Responsive, proactive contributor who thrives in a remote, collaborative setting. • Familiarity with transcription platforms, linguistic annotation tools, or language datasets is a plus.
