Role Title: Norwegian Transcription Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Norwegian Transcription Experts to contribute to a customer's project focused on elevating AI-driven language technologies. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work: • Transcribe audio and video content accurately from Norwegian into written text, ensuring high fidelity to the original material. • Conduct thorough reviews and edits of transcriptions to uphold strict linguistic and formatting standards. • Annotate and categorize speech segments based on specific project guidelines. • Identify and flag ambiguous or unclear audio content, providing context or suggested interpretations where necessary. • Collaborate with project coordinators and other experts to clarify requirements and ensure consistency across deliverables. • Contribute feedback on guidelines and processes to optimize transcription accuracy and workflow efficiency. • Maintain secure handling of confidential information and adhere to data privacy requirements at all times. Preferred Qualifications: • Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian, with exceptional command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. • Proven experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, or a related language-focused discipline. • Strong attention to detail, capable of delivering precise and contextually accurate work. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and responsiveness. • Familiarity with transcription tools, audio editing software, or linguistic annotation platforms is advantageous. • Ability to meet project milestones through consistent, high-quality output in a remote engagement. • Adaptability and openness to feedback in a dynamic project environment.
